Tutoring experiences: Although I have no formal experiences in a paid tutoring scenario, I have had leadership experiences in a volunteer clinic organization "The Flying Samaritans of UCI" and intramural soccer as player/captain. Additionally, I have learned strategies from paid tutor sessions on campus and helped organized study groups with peers in the Biological Sciences, General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Scores: ACT-30, DAT-24 Why do you want to be a tutor?: I would love to become a tutor in order to share effective teaching strategies that I have learned in a university setting. Additionally, I would like to help students with similar goals who struggle in areas where I can provide the same guidance I have received.
