Experience
I specialize in tutoring science and mathematics based subjects from grades K-12. I also have vast experience with tutoring SAT preparatory courses and reviewing college admission essays. With over 10 years of teaching experience, my tutoring style is to break down difficult concepts into their core components. I've found this allows my students the capacity to achieve a more complete understanding of the material. I find great satisfaction in helping others master subjects that they otherwise would have felt impossible. I believe that no subject is too difficult to learn given sufficient time and access to the right resources. My professional career is in medical research. For the past 8 years, I have been conducting clinical research for pharmaceutical and medical device companies helping them bring cutting edge drugs, biologics, and technologies to market. My previous tutoring experience includes: Mentoring students at the Preuss school at UCSD which has been "recognized by Newsweek as the top transformative high school in the nation for three years in a row." Tutored university-level students in the biological sciences, chemistry, physics, and calculus. Taught SAT preparation courses through Princeton Review.
