Hey everyone, this is Prashant Singh Chundawat AKA Jordane. I’m pursuing my M.S in Mechanical Engineering at California State University Long Beach. Since you’re here, I assume that it is because you want to know about me so let me begin by introducing myself. Although I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, I’m also an accomplished programmer. I have strong programming knowledge of MATLAB, PHP, SQL. I have diverse knowledge of Algebra, Geometry, Calculus etc and Extensive understanding of math concepts. My current CGPA is 3.4.

Experience

I worked as math tutor, where i have worked with students in small groups to help develop their analytical and quantitative skills. Helped individual students to prepare for Quantitative reasoning part for exams like the GRE, GMAT and GATE. Filled out evaluations and reports to chart student’s progress. Prepared PowerPoint presentations to clearly illustrate difficult concepts. Provided training to teaching assistants who also performed some mentoring duties. GRE quantitative reasoning test score : 164/170.

Let me give you guys a glimpse into my personality traits and hobbies. Hobby-wise, I’m into football. I’m an avid follower of Barcelona. In my spare time I make sure that I play as well. By football I mean soccer, not the American version (I’m sure you figured that out by the names of the team). I am also quite a bit of a reader. I usually prefer reading inspirational books. I’m a bit of a tech freak as well. Anything new, be it software, hardware or just a new iteration of a gadget, is on my list of ‘stuff to-know about’. I’m not all about work or tech though. I have an adventurous side as well. I love going out for camping and on adventurous trips as well. There is so much in life that I’m still waiting to do. I would like to take up adventure sports for recreation. Sky diving, kite surfing, river rafting and bungee jumping are all the type of adventure sports that I would love to go out and do someday. With regards to what I’ve done, I go bike riding quite often and I’ve been on 2300 Kms round way trip by myself and I covered the distance in 5 days. “Four wheels move the BODY but Two wheels move the SOUL”. I’m also an experienced shooter. I’ve been on hunting expeditions in India and I’d like to say that my shooting prowess is like that of a hunter. I believe that life shoves dirt at you while you are in a well of despair. We can get out of the deepest wells of our lives by never giving up! and by Shaking the pain off and taking a step up.
