Experience
I have had previous tutoring experience mostly in the field of art and writing for students of all ages, but feel comfortable with most subjects. I have also worked with children in after-school programs and through babysitting. This experience has provided me with strong comfort in working with children and understanding their needs. Furthermore, as a graduate from Sunny Hills, I am very familiar with the curriculum in the Fullerton School District. I have served in leadership roles all throughout high school as well as in the district as the Student Board Member. During my high school career, I have scored 4's and 5's on all AP Language and Literature exams and have a strong understanding of reading and writing standards required to excel. I recently graduated from USC as a Renaissance Scholar with the Magna Cum Laude distinction. I will be attending law school in the fall and would love to tutor over the summer time. I want to be a tutor because I think I have a very nurturing and comforting personality and feel passionate about helping children as well as teens as I understand the demands of middle school and high school and would strive to help mitigate the stress they are under. Lastly, I have first-hand experience in college preparation and would love to assist students in the college essay writing process!
