I have previously taught various art classes to elementary-level students. I received high honors and awards for my artwork all throughout Junior High and High School. I received a 4-year Studio Art Scholarship from Chapman University and was accepted into their Art Program where I am currently studying to receive my minor in art with an emphasis on painting. I have also taken various rigorous writing courses and have received As on the majority of my high school and college essays. I specialize in Creative Writing, but mostly write persuasive essays for my coursework. I received an 1800 on my SAT. I want to be a tutor because I believe in the power of being a good, well-rounded writer and I feel it is fun and rewarding to be able to share my own personal knowledge and experiences with students in an effort to help them obtain their goals and excel academically.

I am a very quiet, patient, and creative person. I have participated in musical theatre, art, and dance my entire life. I have four dogs and two sisters that I enjoy spending time with. I have my own blog for my personal writing pieces. I aspire to be an event coordinator in the future with an emphasis on wedding planning. I love staying organized. I enjoy volunteering with the youth programs at my church. I have worked for years as a creative designer and assistant painter at my dad's company, Andie's Toybox as well as in the entertainment department for The Disneyland Resort. I have traveled all over California as well as Europe and am fascinated with the various cultures and people around the world. I love Disney and Harry Potter. My favorite authors are J.K. Rowling and F. Scott Fitzgerald. My favorite artists include Banksy, Frida Kahlo, Tim Burton, and Barbara Keuger. I believe there is power in education and am passionate about sharing that power.
