Experience
I have previously taught various art classes to elementary-level students. I received high honors and awards for my artwork all throughout Junior High and High School. I received a 4-year Studio Art Scholarship from Chapman University and was accepted into their Art Program where I am currently studying to receive my minor in art with an emphasis on painting. I have also taken various rigorous writing courses and have received As on the majority of my high school and college essays. I specialize in Creative Writing, but mostly write persuasive essays for my coursework. I received an 1800 on my SAT. I want to be a tutor because I believe in the power of being a good, well-rounded writer and I feel it is fun and rewarding to be able to share my own personal knowledge and experiences with students in an effort to help them obtain their goals and excel academically.
